Changes in corporate governance

The Annual General Meeting in April elected Jukka Tuori, Chairman of Suomi Mutual’s Board of Directors, following the departure of his long-serving predecessor Oiva Savela. Timo P. Nieminen was elected to the Board for the first time. The company’s Supervisory Board was disbanded at the meeting as had been decided previously. This move is part of the streamlining of the administrative structure of the company, which has transferred to a run-off state.
